The Linnaeus Collection was born from a love of beautiful holiday homes, thoughtful architecture, and the striking natural beauty of the NSW South Coast.
For founder and owner Peter Yannopoulos, this passion began in the early 90s when his family purchased a holiday home in Jervis Bay. Enchanted by the coastline—and equally drawn to the historic village of Berry along the way—Peter knew that one day, Berry would be a central part of his story.
Two decades later, that vision became a reality when Peter, a lifelong property enthusiast and builder, acquired a farm on Coolangatta Road. This property became the “muse” for the entire collection—a project that began as a single family retreat but quickly evolved into a broader mission: to set a new benchmark for regional hospitality by showcasing the town’s potential through a love of architecture and nature.
The Collection is the result of a shared passion between Peter and a close-knit team of designers and creators. What started as casual conversations in local Berry cafes soon turned into a professional ambition to create a “deconstructed” approach to luxury.
Today, the Linnaeus Collection serves as a haven where the extraordinary is expected and luxury feels natural. It is a dedicated endeavor to providing a space where guests can reconnect with themselves and each other, in homes that are as soulful as they are sophisticated.

Our connection to the landscape is most alive at Moraea Farm. From Mid 2026, Sara Dining will open its doors as a full-time restaurant at the farm, completing the Linnaeus experience.
In partnership with renowned chef Alex Prichard, Sara Dining brings a produce-led approach to regional dining. Drawing from our on-site gardens and the rhythm of the seasons, the experience is both refined and grounded. For our guests, this extends far beyond the restaurant with exclusive in-home dining delivered directly to your residence.
We believe in a seamless, sustainable journey. Through our exclusive partnership with Volkswagen Group Australia, we provide guest transfers and local sightseeing in our fleet of all-electric ID. Buzz and Multivans. These 7-seater vehicles allow you to move between our properties and the village in quiet, eco-conscious style.
With seven unique locations and a total capacity for up to 70 guests, we cater to everything from private escapes to large-scale corporate retreats and wellness intensives.
