Sara Dining
BOOKINGS NOW OPEN
Sara Dining was never imagined as just a restaurant.
It is a place shaped by the land around it. Gardens cultivated with intention. Produce grown on the property. Ingredients gathered at the rhythm of the seasons, by the people who know them best.
This philosophy is brought to life by Alex Prichard, whose approach to food is grounded in a deep respect for produce and an instinct for sourcing and refining the exceptional. With a perspective shaped by years leading some of Australia’s most recognised kitchens, Alex brings a quiet precision to Sara — allowing the integrity of each ingredient to speak, while elevating it with considered technique and restraint.
The name pays quiet homage to Sara Moraea, wife of the 18th-century botanist Carl Linnaeus, whose maiden name now lends itself to the farm on which the restaurant resides. Together, the names speak to a union of science and sustenance: of land understood, and land nurtured. A reflection of the Collection’s philosophy that what grows from the earth is best honoured when gathered, shared and returned to the table.
Set within the Linnaeus Collection on Moraea Farm, Sara Dining extends the experience beyond the plate. Guests can stay among the gardens, wake to the rhythm of the farm, and dine immersed in the place the food comes from. It is intimate, agricultural and deeply connected to the property.
Dining here is not separate from the land. It is an expression of it.
Open Thursday to Monday from 12.00pm until 10.00pm.
Bookings essential.
For guests of Linnaeus Collection, this extends far beyond the restaurant. Enjoy exclusive in-home dining, delivered directly to your residence, or seamless transfers to and from the farm via our partnership with Volkswagen Group Australia.
This is, regional hospitality, redefined.

The Linnaeus Collection
Beyond the Table
Sara Dining sits within something larger. As part of the Linnaeus Collection, the restaurant is one thread in a broader offer: luxury accommodation, working farmland, and a dining experience all connected on the one property.
That connection opens a different kind of possibility.
For those who want to do more than eat well, the Collection offers the chance to stay.
